Paul Gorrie | BFA, FCPA, CFP
President
Paul has been in business on the Gold Coast since 1992. He initially started his own Accounting and Taxation Business and added on a Financial Planning business 5 years later. This business has grown very substantially and now has over 4,000 clients. His firm was recently awarded the prestigious Australian “Firm of the Year” from Grant Abbotts “Now Infinity” business.
Apart from that Paul has owned and managed a restaurant on the Gold Coast as well as setting up and running the Hunter Valley Trading Post in Newcastle.
Paul and his wife Margaret established Optimal Outsourcing as they saw a need for businesses both in Australia and overseas to find quality people in the Philippines to fill the many and various roles that businesses need.
Margaret Gorrie
Chief Executive Officer
Margaret has worked for over 25 years in Training and Education. After 9 years lecturing at Griffith University and the previous 2 years working at Waratah English Language College, Margaret established a successful tutoring and Academic advisor firm on the Gold Coast in 2004 which provides training and advice to students.
This was not her first business venture having previously worked together with Paul on the Hunter Valley Trading Post. After a business tour of the Philippines, Margaret immediately recognised the advantages of using outsourced staff in the Philippines to help with administrative tasks in her own business and other small businesses.
With many years of experience in staff management and training, Margaret has established programs to ensure staff at Optimal Outsourcing are well equipped to fulfil the needs of Australian Business.
